WESTBOUND INTERSTATE 10, Miss. -- On our way from Pascagoula, Miss., to Slidell, La., we saw a much more important milestone in the recovery process than the return of fast food, which we mentioned Tuesday: Numerous gas stations along this major coastal artery are now pumping fuel without the long lines we've seen since our arrival.

We topped off our tank just outside Biloxi, Miss., and waited only a few minutes. Prices are headed up, though; we paid $2.79 a gallon, 20 cents more than our last fill-up.

In UPSTATE NY, gas prices have hit the painful threshold of $3.50. I myself am convinced that the Oil Companies revel in disastor, allowing them unabated leway to raise prices. How do we fight this!?

Here in Portage, WI we have been paying around 3.15.

The gas prices in Buffalo, New York have been over $3.00 for the past month. Presently we are paying an average of $3.69 for unleaded.. 3.89 - 4.09 for Premium fuel. I have a Kia Sportage.. Cost me $58.00 to fill the tank... something is very wrong!!

Eastern (Burns) Oregon we are paying $3.11 regular $3.35 regular $3.35 for diesel

It's amazing that people in Mississippi and Louisiana are paying less for gas than we are in NJ; aren't they the ones with short supplies and long lines? We are getting ripped off by companies (AND individuals) intent upon profiting from disaster. SHAME!!!

A few weeks ago it was reported (i think I heard it on CNBC) that exxon had around 220 billion in revenues and 30 billion cash on hand! Not bad!! Any quess where these figures are now?

That's what we get when we put a "oil guy" in office.

Buffalo, NY - $3.45 and up for regular

CapeCod, Ma - 3.49, 3.69, 3.89

Ontario Canada - Seeing prices as high as $1.35 a litre, which is $5.10 a gallon. Someone needs to answer to this outrage

Here in West Texas we are paying $2.99 a gallon and unfortunatly where we live the more gas and oil prices go up the more work there is here so I try not to get too down on oil companies becasuse my livlihood depends directly on them.

Hi I'm in Pittsburgh Pa and the gas prices are from $3.09 to $3.29

Here in Raleigh, NC and surrounding cities, we are paying anywhere from 3.09 to 3.27 for 87 octane. People have some serious choices to make; do they pay the mortgage/ rent, do they buy groceries to eat, or do they put gas in their vehicles so that they can continue to get to work... Sad, but it is so....

$3.00 a gallon, if you can find it in Mobile, AL

Here in Newark, Delaware. Just filled up with reqular at $3.37.

Ontario Canada - Seeing prices as high as $1.35 a litre, which is $5.10 a gallon. Someone needs to answer to this outrage

Joni

Up here in Winnipeg, Canada, our gas price went up 25c a liter last Thursday. At $1.19 a liter it equates to approximately $4.60 a US gallon. The devastation of the Southern Coast will effect many. We pray for the safety of all the victims and for all those assisting in rebuilding after this horrific act of nature. Good luck and health to you all.

we pay 3.29 a gallon today here in maine

Here where I live just west of St. Louis, MO we're paying $2.99 - $3.19 per gallon and our fuel, from what I'm told, doesn't even come from the south east, it comes from Oklahoma and Texas. They have us where the want us and there's nothing we can do. This country is too dependant on gas and diesel.
